1) Following the attack on a woman at an ATM in Bangalore during November 2013, the Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) urged the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to drop which plan associated with increasing the penetration of ATMs in the country? - ‘White-label ATMs’ (Under the plan of White-label ATMs, it would be the responsibility of the private agencies to locate, install, and maintain these ATMs. White-label ATMs can be opened by even those entities which are not in banking operations. BEFI is of the view that security is a major issue with White-label ATMs. India’s first white-label ATM ‘IndiCash’ was started during 2013 by Tata Communications Payment Solutions Ltd.
