Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 17 years to 40 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules. Refer the notification for the age relaxation.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of Intermediate/ Graduation or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University for Clerk post, Intermediate/ 10+2/ Graduation or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University and Hindi Shorthand at a speed of 64 words per minute and transcription at a speed of 11 words per minute and mistakes should not exceed transcription at a speed of 11 words per minute and mistakes should not exceed for Hindi Steno Typist posts, Intermediate/ 10+2/ Graduation or its equivalent from any recognized board/ university and English Shorthand at a speed of 80 words per minute and transcription at a speed of 15 words per minute and mistakes should not exceed 8% for Post for English Steno Typist posts. Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.150/- for General candidates of Haryana and Rs.35/- for SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates and some of the posts and Rs.100/- for General candidates of Haryana and Rs.25/- SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates for remaining post.
Application fee should be deposited in the Haryana Govt Treasury under the Head “0051-H.P.S.C.-(103)-Staff Selection Commission, Haryana-Application fee and other receipts”. PHC candidates who belong to Haryana State are exempted from fee. The ESM candidates are exempted from payment of Fee, but their dependents are required to pay the fee as for General, SC or BC candidates as case may be. Candidates residing outside Haryana and Chandigarh can pay the fee in the form of Indian Postal Orders which must be made payable to the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission at Panchkula.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates would be made through short listing the candidates for interview by holding a written examination or on the basis of a rationale criterion to be adopted by the Commission.
Online Application Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for various posts in Haryana SSC, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on HSSC’s official website at www.hssc.gov.in on or before 19th February 2014.

- Log on to HSSC’s official website at http://www.hssc.gov.in.
- Now click on Apply Online Button.
- Fill all marked details and submit your application form.
- After applying online your registration no. and password will be generated.
- Take print out of the registration no. and password screen for future reference of your application status and for Reprinting of your online filled application form and challan form.
- After successful submission of application candidates can take print out of application form and Fee challan.
- Please deposit the fee in all State Bank of Patiala bank branches after 48 hour of filling online application and Fee challan generation.
- The hard copy along with required documents will be brought at the time of verification/scrutiny-cum-interview.
