NVS Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for PGT and TGT Vacancies : Advt. for recruitment of PGTs/TGTs has been announced. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of PGT and TGT posts. Online applications are invited for filling up 937 Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may apply through online mode from 1st February to 28th February 2014. Further details are given below…

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years for PGT Post and age limit should not exceed 35 years for TGT Posts as on 31-01-2014. Check out the Age relaxation details for this opening.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.

For Post Graduate Teacher: Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Master Degree from any recognized university in the concerned subjects.

For Trained Graduate Teacher: Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum of  50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subjects.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 560/- (Rs. 500/- as application fee and Rs. 60/- as Bank Service charges) in the form of bank challan at the nearest Branch of Union Bank of India.  No application fee is to paid by SC/ ST/ PH categories and women candidates.

For PGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)

For TGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4600)

Selection Process: Selections of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview.

How to Apply Online: Before filling online application, candidates must have email ID, scanned copies of photo and signature.

1. Log on to NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in.
2. Navigate to ‘Recruitment of Teachers in NVS – 2014′ section.
3. Now click on ‘Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs in JNVs – 2014′.
4. Click on ‘Online Application form for Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs – 2014’.
5. Fill application form with all mandatory details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature and submit.
6. Now submit your application and note down the login ID and password.
7. Take print out Fee payment challan and pay the fee as mentioned above.
8. Visit the same website once again.
9. Take print out of application for further use.
