Nagaland PSC Recruitment 2013 (06 Teaching Posts)

Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) Kohima invites applications for filling up the following vacancies under the Government of Nagaland.

Assistant Professor under Higher Education  Department: 05 Posts;

 Pay Scale: P.B.– 3,Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6,000/-

Lecturer under Administrative Training Institute: 01 Post; 

Pay Scale: P.B. –3, Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- + GP Rs. 5,700/-

Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years (as on 01/01/2013). Age relaxation 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.  Government Employees will be allowed age relaxation the equal number of years they are in service, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

For Physically Handicapped persons, the upper age limit will be permitted relaxation of 10 years and 3% post reservation will be maintained.

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Professor - Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC. and differently-abled candidates. Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/SLET/SET. Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Lecturer - Master’s Degree from a recognized University in one of the following subjects with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade (a) Economics (b) Management (c) Public Administration. Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC.

How To Apply: For Applications submitted by registered post, a relaxation of 5 days is granted, provided it is dispatched by post on or before the last date of submission and addressed to the Secretary, N.P.S.C. The last date for submission of Application Form is  02/12/2013.
