About the Author:

Dr. K.L. Narayana retired after serving as Dean and Principal of the Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati (A.P.). Recipient of Best Teacher award from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for the year 1990-91, Dr. Narayana has

to his credit more than 45 years of teaching experience at the degree level.
Co-authored 10 books for Engineering, with four amongst them prescribed as textbooks at the level of various universities. Presently, he is Director (Research and Development) at S.V.C.E.T., Chittoor (A.P.).


Dr. P. Kannaiah retired after serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SVU College of Engineering, Tirupati (A.P.). He is the co-author of 12 books and his books on Machine Design are well received by both the staff and students. He has more than 40 years of teaching experience at the degree level. Presently, he is Dean (Academics) at SSITS, Rayachoti (A.P.).


K. Venkata Reddy retired after serving as Workshop Superintendent, S V U College of Engineering, Tirupati. Presently, he is Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering, Tirupati (A.P.).
