1) Norway’s Magnus Carlsen dethroned 5-time World Chess Champion Vishwanathan Anand of India to become the second youngest World Chess Champion. Carlsen achieved this feat after he drew with Anand after 65 moves on 22 November, 2013 to take an unassailable lead of 6.5-3.5 at the ongoing World Chess Championship 2013 at Chennai.
